We need additional parent assistance to hold the Solo and Ensemble Contest this Saturday, March 15.  The following positions are unfilled:
The SEC will be held at Grace Community Bible Church, 6N171 Gary Avenue, Roselle, IL (east side of Gary Avenue, about half-way between Lake Street/Route 20, and Schick Road, north of Stratford Square Mall.)

In some cases, the link may be to a clip, rather than the complete song, but at least you will get a taste of the music. It will greatly aid your personal progress and mastery if you play along with these links in your daily practice. Of course, it will probably take a while until you are able to play at the tempo of the recording. You will find just listening to the music frequently, apart from your practice time, will improve your ability to learn and play the song.
If the exact same arrangement of a song is not available, occasionally we may provide a link to a version different from the one we are using. In this case, while you will not be able to play along, you can listen to get a feel for the music

The files are large, about 1-3 Mb.  They are streaming media format and should start playing immediately.  They are CD quality Windows Media files.

Instructions: Here are the instructions for finding music on the various websites given in the WSHSB music list.  Please note that some clips are the entire song while some are a shorter sample. 
J.W.Pepper – On the home page, left column, locate the "Shop Our Catalogs" box.  Enter the desired "Catalog #" from the WSHSB music list into the first space in the box. There is no suffix.  Click "go".
Jalen Publishing – From the home page, left column, click on "Browse" Our Catalog.  From the top of the page, scroll down the alphabetical list of songs titles.
Masters Music - Songs are in order on this website by composer’s last name. 
Curnow Music – On the home page, enter the search criteria in the box given, using the composer's name from the WSHSB music list.  From the search results, click on the composer’s name from the "Document List" box.   Scroll down and click on the desired song title.
Hal Leonard - On the home page, left column, locate the "Quick Search" box.  Enter the desired "Catalog #" from the WSHSB music list.  Click on the song title from the search results.  Click on the speaker on the next page.
Air Force Band – (www.af.mil/band…) Scroll down first page to song title.
USAF Heritage of America Band – (www2.acc.af….) Song is the first one on the page.
Alfred Music - From the home page choose "Search Complete Catalog".  Search by "Author's Last Name" using name from WSHSB list.   Scroll down to desired title.
